Prayer of a Crusader

God of glory and strength, I come before you in prayer. I come to remember you. I come to thank you. I come to be with you.

I am a Crusader. Grant that I may be worthy of that name.

Give me the Courage to rise above and endure the challenges that tempt me to give up.

Give me the Character to be true to myself, to be the person I want to be.

Give me the Heart to sacrifice, to put myself out, and to know I can not do it alone.

Give me the Spirit to refresh my dream, my vision and to keep mindful of my purpose.

Lord, I am proud of what I am; proud of the person you made me.

And of this much I am sure. With your help, I will be better tomorrow than I am today. With your grace, I will grow in wisdom and strength. With your love, I will live in peace.

I am a Crusader, Lord. And this Crusader knows that Courage, Character, Heart, and Spirit come from you.
